Project Overview
Set high on a hill overlooking an avocado plantation and dam, this project involved the transformation of a classic 1980s farmhouse into a modern, versatile homestead. The brief was to reimagine the existing home into a space that feels generous, functional, and refined, while retaining its connection to the surrounding rural landscape. The result is a home that balances contemporary comfort with the character of its setting, offering a relaxed yet elevated way of living.

Our Role
SWBC worked closely with the clients to guide the renovation from early planning through to completion. Our role involved coordinating the extension works, managing the integration of old and new, and delivering a high level of finish throughout. Careful attention was given to material selection, construction sequencing, and detailing to ensure the transformed home feels cohesive, refined, and well suited to both everyday living and entertaining. The result is a modern homestead that respects its origins while offering a new level of comfort and versatility.
